Getting paid once is the easy part. The revenue that keeps a salon steady is the gift card bought in December, the membership that bills itself every month and the client who brings a friend. Salon100X handles the card payment through your own Stripe account and then gives you five ways to turn one visit into the next.
Stripe
Card and online payments through Stripe.
Clients pay for an appointment through Stripe Checkout, from the Pay Now button in their portal or from a payment link your team email them. Gift card balance and loyalty points come off first, and retail products can join the same bill.
Staff can also build a retail order for a client and send it as a payment link, and the client sees their orders in the portal. Every payment for a location lands on its transactions page with a detail pop-up for gift cards and orders.
- Stripe Checkout for appointments, gift cards, packages and memberships
- Payment links by email for an appointment or a retail order
- Gift card balance and loyalty points deducted before the card is charged
- Your own Stripe account for each location, charged in pounds

Gift cards
Gift cards online from £1 to £10,000, and at the desk.
Your public gift card page sells cards for any amount from £1 to £10,000 through Stripe Checkout. The recipient gets an email with the balance and a link to check it. At the desk, staff issue digital or physical cards with an expiry date and a message, and redeem them manually.
A client applies the code on the booking page and the balance comes off. Anyone can check a balance on the public balance page, which is rate-limited to stop guessing.

Memberships
Memberships billed as Stripe subscriptions.
Each location starts with four default membership plans: Free, £59 a month, £159 a quarter and £599 a year. Members pay by Stripe subscription, so the money arrives without anyone chasing it. A failed payment gets a two-day grace period, and the client sees a payment warning on their portal dashboard.
Clients upgrade, cancel, see their billing history and download invoices from the portal. You see memberships across every location from the owner account.

Loyalty points
Loyalty points, with the rules set by you.
Clients earn points on what they spend on appointments. You set the earn rate, the minimum before points can be used and what each point is worth. Clients redeem points on the booking page and see points earned and redeemed in their portal.
The loyalty redemption report shows how many points are being used, and each client's record shows their balance.

Referrals
Referral rewards that pay out after the first visit, not before.
Every client has a referral code and a share link in their portal. When someone they referred completes a first appointment, the referrer earns 500 points and the newcomer 250. Nothing is paid for a sign-up that never turns into a visit, and fraud checks run at registration.
The top referrers report shows who is sending you the most clients.

Packages
Packages sold online.
Create a package of sessions, a course of six blow dries or three facials, and clients buy it in their portal or add it at the package step of online booking. Packages are paid through Stripe like everything else, and the package liability report shows what has been sold.
