AI that books and answers

It books for your clients. It runs your front desk.

One AI engine behind two chat screens: a Booking Assistant on your public pages and a Front Desk Copilot inside your dashboard. Both work from your live diary, and both ask before they change anything.

Plenty of booking chatbots answer a question and then hand the client a link. The Salon100X assistant checks your real diary, finds a free 30-minute slot with the right stylist, books it and reads back an 8-character reference. Inside the salon, your team type a request and the Copilot does the admin, after showing them exactly what it is about to do.

Booking Assistant

Clients type, dictate or talk. It books.

The assistant sits as a chat bubble on your salon's public landing page, each location page and the online booking page. A client asks for what they want in their own words. It finds the location, the service and the specialist, then shows real availability in 30-minute slots.

When the client picks a time it books the appointment and gives them an 8-character booking reference. Logged-in clients are greeted by name and reminded of their next bookings. Guests give a name and email first and are recognised by email the next time.

  • Text chat: the client types and the reply streams in
  • Dictation: tap the mic and speak for up to 60 seconds
  • Live voice: tap to talk and hold a conversation in the browser, in English
  • Reschedule or cancel with the reference and phone number, inside your cancellation notice window

Clients talk to the assistant in their browser, in English. It does not answer your phone.

Before it acts

It reads every change back and waits for a yes.

Nothing is booked, moved or cancelled on a client's say-so alone. The assistant repeats the service, stylist, date and time and asks the client to confirm. Only then does it write to the diary.

Rescheduling and cancelling need the booking reference and the phone number on the booking. Both respect your cancellation notice window, which is 24 hours unless you change it.

Front Desk Copilot

Type the request. The Copilot does the admin.

The Copilot opens from a button at the top of your dashboard sidebar. Staff type plain requests such as "Create an appointment for Priya Sharma tomorrow at 2pm" and it does the work in the same system your front desk already uses.

It lists, creates, reschedules and cancels appointments, and changes their notes, service or price. It searches, creates and updates client records, and it will not create a duplicate phone number. It can add a new staff member too, setting up their login and sending the welcome email.

  • Appointments: list, create, reschedule, cancel, change notes, service or price
  • Clients: search, create, update and delete, with duplicate phone numbers blocked
  • Services and staff: create and update, with a welcome email for each new employee
  • Export payroll, check pending forms, review stats and commission statements

Ask about the business

Ask how today went and get the numbers, not a shrug.

Type "How did today go?" and the Copilot answers with today's net revenue, bookings, average ticket, utilisation, retail attach and no-show rate. Ask for any period and it summarises it. Ask why a number moved and it tells you what changed.

It can run any of the 30 named reports in the same conversation, so a manager gets last month's no-show rate without leaving the chat.

Safeguards

It only does what that staff member is allowed to do.

Every action the Copilot takes is checked against the real permissions of the person typing. A receptionist who cannot delete clients in the dashboard cannot delete them through the Copilot either.

Every create, update or delete shows Yes and No buttons before anything happens. Deletes go further: they need a single-use code that expires in five minutes, and they are refused if the record still has upcoming appointments. Every change is written to the activity log with who asked for it.

  • Permissions checked against the staff member's own role
  • Yes and No buttons before every create, update or delete
  • Single-use delete code that expires in five minutes
  • Deletes refused while upcoming appointments exist
  • Every change written to the activity log

Questions

Straight answers.

Does the assistant answer the phone?
No. Clients talk to it in their browser, in English, on your salon's public pages. It does not answer your phone. The live voice mode is a conversation on the web page: the client taps to talk, and it ends when they say goodbye.
What if it books the wrong thing?
It reads the service, stylist, date and time back and asks for a yes before it writes to the diary, and every booking gets an 8-character reference. If a client still wants a change, they can reschedule or cancel with that reference, or your team can adjust it in the diary or through the Copilot.
Can the Copilot delete a client by mistake?
It is built to make that hard. A delete shows Yes and No buttons first, then asks for a single-use code that expires in five minutes, and it refuses to delete a client or staff member who still has upcoming appointments. It also checks that the person typing has permission to delete at all.
Do I need my own AI account, or pay per message?
No. The assistants run on Salon100X's own Anthropic and OpenAI accounts and are included in the software. There is one limit to know about: dictation is capped at 120 minutes per business per day. Text chat and live voice have no cap.
Is the assistant switched on from day one?
It is off until we switch it on for your business, which we do as part of setup, and we can switch it off again if you ask. The Booking Assistant works in English only and is shown on your public pages, not inside the logged-in client portal.
