Integrations

Seven connections, each with a clear job.

Stripe takes the money, GoHighLevel keeps contacts in step, Twilio sends the texts, SMTP or Mailgun sends the email, Anthropic and OpenAI power the assistants, and payroll goes out as files for Xero, QuickBooks and IRIS.

An integration should do one thing you can name. Here is each connection Salon100X makes, what flows out of the software, what flows back in, and what you need to bring. Nothing on this list is a marketplace of apps you have to wire up yourself. Most salons need Stripe, and the rest only when they use the feature that calls for it.

At a glance

What flows in, what flows out.

Each card is one connection. The sections below give the detail.

Stripe

Out: appointment, gift card, package and membership payments, and membership subscriptions. In: payment and subscription events, so transactions and membership status stay current. You bring: your own Stripe account for each location.

GoHighLevel

Out: new and updated clients, appointments created and cancelled, welcome emails, testimonials. In: contacts created or updated and form submissions, which create or update clients. You bring: your GoHighLevel keys, if you have an account.

Twilio

Out: SMS for campaigns, journeys, review requests and waitlist offers. You bring: your own Twilio account and sender number. Without it, texts are logged rather than sent.

Email: SMTP or Mailgun

Out: booking confirmations, welcome emails, payment requests, thank-you emails, and campaign and journey emails. GoHighLevel workflows can send the welcome and appointment emails instead.

Anthropic Claude

Powers the Booking Assistant, the Front Desk Copilot and the one-line summary of each voice call. Runs on Salon100X's account. You bring nothing.

OpenAI

Powers dictation through Whisper and live voice in the browser through Realtime. Runs on Salon100X's account. You bring nothing.

Payroll files: Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS

Out: commission and tips for a payroll period as a generic CSV or a Xero, QuickBooks or UK IRIS file. In: nothing, it is a file you import. You bring: your accountant or your payroll software.

Stripe

Stripe, one account per location.

Stripe handles every payment: appointments, gift cards, packages and memberships, with memberships running as Stripe subscriptions. Each location enters its own Stripe keys in its settings and takings go to that location's account. Every charge is in pounds.

Stripe sends payment and subscription events back to Salon100X, so the transactions page and a client's membership status update without anyone re-keying.

Card and online payments through Stripe, using your own Stripe account for each location.

GoHighLevel

GoHighLevel contact sync in both directions.

Salon100X sends GoHighLevel your new and updated clients, appointments as they are created and cancelled with the service, date, time, staff and location, welcome emails for new clients and staff, and testimonials. GoHighLevel sends back contacts it creates or updates and form submissions, which create or update the matching client, matched by phone first and then by email.

The admin screen holds your credentials, the field mapping, a sync log, the webhook events and a conflict ledger for records that changed in both places. When email sending is switched to GoHighLevel, its workflows send the welcome and appointment emails.

Twilio and email

Twilio for texts, SMTP or Mailgun for email.

Every text the software sends goes out through Twilio: SMS campaigns, SMS steps in journeys, review requests and waitlist offers. You connect your own Twilio account and pay Twilio for the messages. Until it is connected, texts are logged rather than sent, so nothing goes out by surprise.

Email is sent by SMTP, with Mailgun available, and covers booking confirmations, welcome emails, payment requests, thank-you emails, and campaign and journey emails. GoHighLevel workflows can send the welcome and appointment emails instead if you prefer.

Email and SMS campaigns (SMS needs your own Twilio account).

Anthropic and OpenAI

Anthropic and OpenAI behind the assistants, on our account.

The Booking Assistant and the Front Desk Copilot run on Claude from Anthropic. Dictation uses OpenAI's Whisper and live voice in the browser uses OpenAI's Realtime. Claude also writes a one-line summary of each voice call.

Both run on Salon100X's own accounts. You do not bring keys or pay a separate AI bill. Dictation is capped at 120 minutes per business per day.

Xero, QuickBooks and IRIS

Payroll files, not an accounting API.

Commission and tips for a payroll period export as a generic CSV or in Xero, QuickBooks or UK IRIS format, with a reconciliation check against the ledger before you download. You or your accountant import the file.

There is no live connection to your accounts, no sync of sales or invoices, and no calendar sync either. If that is what you need, say so at the demo and we will tell you straight.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I need a GoHighLevel account?
No. GoHighLevel is optional. If you have one, enter your keys and contacts and appointments sync both ways. Without it, the software sends its own emails and keeps clients in its own records.
Does it connect to Xero or QuickBooks directly?
No. Payroll goes out as a file in Xero, QuickBooks or UK IRIS format for you to import. Sales and invoices do not sync to accounting software.
Does it sync with Google Calendar or Outlook?
No. The diary is the calendar. Staff see their appointments by logging in, and the Front Desk Copilot can list them on request.
Do I pay for the AI, Twilio or Stripe separately?
The AI runs on Salon100X's accounts and is included in the software. Stripe and Twilio are your own accounts, so their fees are billed to you by Stripe and Twilio directly.
